Update to CNF form:
We are making a change to provide clearer guidance on the CNF form to avoid the risk of the claimant representative selecting tariff damages for claims to which the tariffs do not apply (vulnerable road user claims). We have introduced a warning pop-up reminding users that “If you select whiplash (tariff only), you will be required to enter a tariff injury at Stage 2. Please do not select if the claim does not include a tariff injury, e.g. because the claimant is a vulnerable road user.
For EL/PL claims only:
For claims where an accident date on or after 6 April 2022 is entered, the lower limit figure in the CNF header will read £1,500 for all EL / PL claims. Please note that for ELD claims, as there is no “accident date” field or equivalent, all CNFs generated on or after 6 April 2022 will have this header.
