For A2A Users and their Software Houses only
Â
As you are aware we are upgrading our A2A interface, moving from SOAP to REST.
The A2A interface is ready for use following integration of your systems with the new REST interface.
We will dual run the existing SOAP and upgraded REST interfaces at least until the end of January 2026.
This period gives users the flexibility to develop the new REST integrations whilst continuing to use the SOAP interface.
We are asking all organisations to complete the migration to REST before the end of January 2026 as the current platform will be decommissioned. The current SOAP API will no longer continue to function once decommissioned.
Â
What do you need to do?
Â
1. Register for the Developer Portal
Your teams should have now registered for access to the Developer Portal - if they haven't please ensure they do this as early as possible. The Developer Portal contains documentation, guides and the APIs; everything your teams    need to start the development for the migration.Â
2. Complete your development and testing
Please nominate one person to fill in this form indicating the date on which your organisation will start development, and a prospective date your organisation will be migrating to the new Claims Portal REST API.
Please complete this by the 31st October 2024.
Our team will then support you towards your estimated migration date, through the development and testing phases.
3. Sign off by CPL
Once you have completed your testing, we will work with you to provide sign-off for the migration to the REST API.
4.Go Live
Once your migration date has been confirmed by CPL (and any internal teams on your side), your organisation can switch to the new REST API in the live environment.
Â
What will happen next?
Â
Once we have prospective dates from all organisations, we will communicate directly with you to ensure you have the support necessary to meet your planned development and migration dates.
We have initial workshops planned:
These will give you and your teams an opportunity to have an overview of the upgraded interface and ask questions of the team supporting you with the migration.
Places are limited so please register your interest early here.
